ORYA’s Tennis program hopes to introduce young athletes to this fun and life-long sport. Small classes or camps offered in the fall, spring and summer offer players the chance to learn the sport and develop some of the basic skills needed to play for fun or prepare them for more intense training.
ORYA is currently seeking a Tennis Program Coach/Coordinator. This person(s) would be responsible for working with ORYA to create a program schedule and coach within their availability. Program logistics such as training dates, times, length of sessions are largely up to the coach while ORYA staff will manage program advertisement, registrations, payments, etc.
If you are, or know of someone, that is interested please contact Ashley Wood at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Summer Camp Options
ORYA’s summer tennis camps offer options for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced players. Players will work with rising tennis stars Elizabeth & Henry Bulkley. Both are extremely talented players and budding tennis coaches. Program curriculum has been created by Nancy Bulkley, a USPTA teaching Pro and Assistant girls and boys Varsity coach at ORHS. All players will receive a mix of fun and skill development within their camp group.
