Why do we need to fundraise? ORYA is an independent 501 (c)3 non-profit and while partially funded by Durham, Lee and Madbury that funding still falls well short of covering annual operating expenses. Fundraising supports the annual operating expenses which include staff salaries, facility & field maintenance, program & organization insurance, office expenses, 3rd party accounting costs, website hosting, annual registration software & merchant account fees and much more.

Fundraising also supports larger program or organization improvements. Through fundraising ORYA ensures being able to make improvements where needed such as building a concession stand at Demeritt park in Madbury, expanding the soccer facility at Tibbetts field or one day building a multi-use indoor space!

ORYA All-Sports Tagging & Discount Card Sales | Spring of 2017

This event would offer two direct avenues for generating fundraising revenue. The first mode is scheduling all ORYA sports tagging times and locations.

  • This time frame offers maximum foot traffic with UNH students still in session.
  • Multiple teams at each location showcases what ORYA offers to the general public.
  • Utilize Lee, Madbury, Durham and UNH high traffic locations
  • Scheduled for high traffic times (after work, breakfast runs, etc.)
  • Combination of tagging & discount card is a win-win

The second mode is sale of discount cards via Adrenaline fundraising:

  • Custom designed, branded card offering local-area discounts
  • Each ORYA member is responsible for sale of 10 cards.
  • $20 per card and offer these while tagging as incentive for higher donation
  • Create sport-based incentives. The sport that does the best wins Under Armour gear via Adrenaline & ORYA
  • Additional avenues for individual incentives

Would you like to be involved in supporting the Spring fundraising initiative? We will need all the help we can get!
