ORYA MISSION STATEMENT
The Oyster River Youth Association provides inclusive, fair, diverse, and developmentally appropriate recreational programs to the youth of Durham, Lee, and Madbury, NH. ORYA meets the changing needs of the children and families in our community for sports and recreational activities by acquiring and maintaining facilities, promoting volunteerism, and seeking collaborative and strategic partnerships.
ORYA Board meetings are typically scheduled for the last Wednesday of every month and held at the ORYA office, located at 2 Dover Rd in Durham. The Board generally does not meet during Oyster River Community School District vacation weeks. The next meeting is scheduled for October 30th at 7:00pm. Public welcome.

Matthew Glode grew up in Barrington, NH and transitioned to the ORYA Director position after an 11 year tenure at Seacoast United Sports Club. During his time with SUSC he had many different roles from managing their Hampton youth programs, managing their York Indoor facility and finishing is time as the director for their Admirals soccer club, indoor and outdoor facility in Amesbury, MA. Matt brings his passion for youth sports and experience in programming, facilities and management to ORYA in an effort to continue to build on the amazing foundation laid by the directors and volunteers that preceded him.
Greg Lingley grew up in Amesbury, Massachusetts where he fostered a love for sports. From there he attended Merrimack College where he played football and rugby while working towards his teaching certifications and Bachelor’s Degree in English. Greg was hired at his Alma Mater, Amesbury High School. There, he held the positions of Assistant Football Coach, Assistant Athletic Director, and English Teacher. He comes to Oyster River Youth Association in an effort to broaden his horizons in the athletics world. With a passion for sports and recreation, Greg is excited to have the opportunity to work with dedicated volunteers and staff members at ORYA. He looks forward to furthering the safe environment his predecessors have created and to continue to build and better the variety of opportunities offered at Oyster River Youth Association.
Current Hours | Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
ORYA staff often step out of the office to run errands to the fields, facilities and to conduct meetings.
